PULCHERIE's father was FLAVIUS ARCADIUS EMPEROR de ROME and his mother was EUDOXIE de KONSTANTINOPLE.  His paternal grandparents were FLAVIUS THEODOSE II de ROME and AELIA FLACCILLA; his maternal grandfather was BAUTO de FRANKS.  He was an only child.

They had a daughter named EUFEMIA.
