William de Albini, 2nd Earl of Arundel and Sussex, had a grant from the
crown, in the 23rd year of King Henry II., of the Earldom of Sussex, and
in the first year of King Richard I., had a confirmation from that
prince, of the castle and honor of Arundel, as also of the Tertium
Denarium of the county of Sussex.
He had a biological son named William.
