Helie was born about 1013 in Semur, Cote-D'Or, France.1 Helie's father was Dalmace [Damas] I of de Semur-en-Brionnais and her mother was Auxois (Aremburge) d'Burgundy d'Bourgogne. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffroi [Geoffrey] I of Semur UNKNOWN and Maud d'Chalon UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Gerald d' Vergy and Elizabeth d' Chalons. She was an only child. She died on April 22nd, 1109.1 
‌Helie and Robert "The Old" I d'Bourgogne were married in a religious ceremony about 1033 in France.1 They had a daughter named Constance d'Burgundy.
