Robert I was born in 0820.1 Robert I's father was Robert I "The Strong" OF NEUSTRIA and his mother was Adelaide DE TOURS & ALSACE. His paternal grandparents were Rutpert III OF WORMSGAU & UPPER RHINE and Waldrada OF ORLEANS; his maternal grandparents were Hugh II "Le Mefiant" OF TOURS and Ava OF UPPER ALSACE. He was an only child. He died at the age of 103 in 0923.1 
They had a daughter named Adela.
