John Manning 
John was born in 1915. John's father was Roy Warren Manning and his mother was Ida Pamela Mangham. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Manning and Josephine Jennings; his maternal grandparents were Alex Gordon Mangham and Mary Hollice Bodine. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Holland Alexander, Gilbert Warren, Edwin Larry, Marshall Bunyon, John Oscar, Royaline and Nina Marie (Marguarete).General Notes
I recall stories about a brother of my father's who died during a
baseball game after pouring iced water over his head to cool off. Since
I have no other reference for John, this may be that individual. Or,
