ADALBERT III DE LONGWY COUNT OF was born in 1000.¹   ADALBERT III DE LONGWY COUNT OF's father was GERHARD II OF METZ and his mother was GISELA OF LOWER LORRAINE.  His paternal grandparents were ADALBERT II VON SAARGAU and JUDITH (JUTTA) VON OENINGEN; his maternal grandparents were HUGH V (COUNT) OF EGISHEIM and BERLINDA OF ORTENBURG.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 48 in 1048.¹ 

They had two daughters named ERMENSINDE and STEPHANIE (ETIENETTE).
