(Earl) Richard III was born in 1346.1 (Earl) Richard III's father was (Sir) Richard II Fitzalan and his mother was Eleanor Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were (Earl) Edmund Fitzalan and Alice De Warenne; his maternal grandparents were Henry Plantagenet and Maud Chaworth. He had a half-brother named Richard. He died at the age of 51 on September 21st, 1397 in Beheaded Cheapside, Berkshire, England. He was buried in Church of the Augustin Friars.1 1 General Notes
