James EbenezerDean

James was born in 1858 in Alabama.  James' father was John Dean and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Deane and UNKNOWN Nancy. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Callaway, William, Perry, Lucy Ann, Jinny Ann and Mary.  He was the youngest of the seven children.

They had a son named Elliot.
