**Robert De Mortaigne

**Robert was born about 1037 in Conteville, France.¹   **Robert's father was **Harlowen De Conteville and his mother was **Arlotte De Falaize.  His paternal grandfather was **Jean De Conteville; his maternal grandparents were **Fulbet "the Tanner" De Falaize and **Doda UNKNOWN. He had a sister named **Emma.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named **William I "the Conqueror".  He died about December 8th, 1091 in France.  He was buried in Grestain.^1 1 

They had a son named **William.
