John Bowden

John was born about 1838 in Lawrence, TN.¹   John's father was William Bowden.  His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Charles W., Henry Nelson Clay, George, Nancy J., Martha E. and Sarah A..  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died in 1862.¹
