John Bowden

John was born in 1873.¹   John's father was Henry Nelson Clay Bowden and his mother was Sarah Jane Bowen.  His paternal grandfather was William Bowden. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Elisha, W. J. J., Samuel, Henry, Nancy Ellen and Winnie. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Charles B., Larkin C., Albert M., Alvie Oscar, Reece E., Bertha B., Ollie M., Tempie E. and Living.  He died at the age of 80 in 1953.¹ 

He had a biological son and two biological daughters, named Living, Maxine and Living.
