Samuel Perry Bodine 
Samuel Perry was born on July 28th, 1857 in San Augustine, S-Agst, Tx.1 Samuel Perry's father was William Robert Bodine and his mother was Mary Jane Louisa Pool. His paternal grandparents were John Bodine and Nancy A. Gunnels. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Joshua, James Daniel, William Thomas Oliver, Holley Frances, Winnie Isabel, Josephine, Mary Hollice and Virginia. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 38 in 1895.1 General Notes
