Rachel Vail 
Rachel was born in 1795 in ,, Pennsylvania.1 Rachel's father was Benjamin Vail and her mother was Mrs. Rebecca Vail. She was an only child. She died at the age of 70 on June 17th, 1865 in , Belmont, Ohio. She was buried in 1865 in St. Clairsville, Ohio.1 1 
‌Rachel and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on November 2nd, 1815 in Plainfield, Belmont Co., OH.1 They had seven sons and two daughters, named Joel, Simeon, Nathan, Amos, Edward, Thomas, Levi, Martha and Rebecca.
