Mary Elizabeth Swartz 
Mary Elizabeth was born on February 3rd, 1896 in Mannheim, Ontario, Canada.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was Abram Hunsberger Swartz and her mother was Susannah Bergey. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Ruth Swartz and Mary Bergey Hunsberger; her maternal grandparents were Jacob W. Bergey and Elizabeth Eby. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Isaiah Bergey, Wellington Bergey, Oliver Bergey, Jemima Bergey, Priscilla Bergey, Minerva Bergey, Lydia Ann Bergey, Hannah Bergey and Susannah Bergey. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 82 on January 12th, 1979 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. She was buried in Kitchener Mennonite Church Cemetary, Kitchener, ON.1 -

They had no children . . . "no issue."
"Elizabeth and Clifford were a happy couple, despite the fact that they had no children. Their family were their cousins and their fellow church members at First Mennonite Church in Kitchener. They lived on Weber street, a few blocks from their church, and were often seen walking arm-in-arm on the way to church. The last few years of their lives were spent at Fairview Mennonite Home in Cambridge.
Elizabeth inherited the pionner kitchen chairs made by her grandfather, Jacob Bergey. They are now on display at the Brubacher House on the campus of the University of Waterloo."
