Mary was born on March 26th, 1892.  Mary's father was Simon Hunsberger Swartz and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Wingham.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Ruth Swartz and Mary Bergey Hunsberger; her maternal grandparents were George Wingham and Harriet Brighton. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Miles Wingham, Clayton Wingham, Simon Wingham, Percy Wingham, Burton Wingham, George Wingham, Cora, Bertha and Muriel.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 45 in 1937.
