Benjamin Pittaway 
Benjamin was born in 1848 in Leabrook, Tipton, Staffordshire, England.1 Benjamin's father was John Pittaway and his mother was Sarah Walker. His paternal grandparents were Moses Pittaway and Sarah Catherine. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John P., Samuel, Joseph, William, James, Moses, Lydia, Sarah, Sarah and Mary. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother named John.-
