Marion Davis was born in July 1872 in Portland, Callaway Co., MO.1 Marion Davis' father was James Polk McClelland and his mother was Martha Jane Linville. His paternal grandparents were James W. McClellan and Elizabeth Grant; his maternal grandparents were Archilles James Linville and Martha Jane Wren. He had two brothers and a sister, named James Archillis, John Robert Lee and Malissa Ann. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Lemuel Jackson, Addie Lee and Margaret Henrietta. He died at the age of 74 on September 2nd, 1946 in Steedman, Callaway Co., MO. He was buried in September 1946 in Steedman, Callaway Co., MO.1 1 -
