Emanuel was born in 1689 in Wheatland Mills, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, U.S.A..1 Emanuel's father was Hans Herr and his mother was Barbel Elizabeth Kendig. His paternal grandparents were Hans Herr and Catherina Haas; his maternal grandparents were Jorg Kundig and Barbel Huffellberg. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Hans (John), Christian, Samuel, Henry, Issac, Maria Margaretha, Maria and Anna. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 51 in 1740 in Wheatland Mills, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, U.S.A..1 -
