Jane Hawke 
Jane was born on June 12th, 1833.1 Jane's father was Robert Hawke and her mother was Charlotte Truscott. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hawke and Jane Gilbert; her maternal grandparents were John Pearse Truscott and Jenny Stephens. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Richard, John Pearcy, Susan Ann, Mary, Hannah, Phoebe Esther and Sarah Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 8 on January 31st, 1842 in a diptheria epidemic.1 -
