Donald Edwin was born on May 19th, 1926. Donald Edwin's father was Edwin S. Feick and his mother was Leota Lucille Shantz. His paternal grandparents were Henry Feick and Lydia Ann Shantz; his maternal grandparents were Wendell R. Shantz and Priscilla Bergey Swartz. He had a brother and a sister, named Earl Stanley and Myrtle Laurine. He was the youngest of the three children.-
