Thomas Ellis 
Thomas was born in 1828 in Scarborough, York Co., Ontario, Canada.1 Thomas' father was John Ellis and his mother was Hannah Stoner. His paternal grandparents were John Ellis and Mrs. Catherine Ellis; his maternal grandparents were John Stoner and Catharina Scharm. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John Henry, William, Abraham, George, David, Frederick, Sarah, Bessie, Mary, Charlotte and Rachel. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on December 14th, 1895.1 -
