Roger was born in 1211 in Kinderton cum Hulme, Norhwich, Cheshire, England. Roger's father was Hugh VENABLES and his mother was Agnes de OXTON. His paternal grandparents were William VENABLES and Margaret DUTTON; his maternal grandfather was Ranulph de OXTON. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 in 1261.-
