William was born about 1110 in Warter, Holderness, West Riding, Yorkshire, England. William's father was William "the Elder' TRUSSEBUT and his mother was Miss FITZ PAIN. His maternal grandfather was Payn TROUSSEBUT. He was an only child. He died in 1176.
