Warin de was born in 1116 in Edwardstone, Suffolkshire, England. Warin de's father was Hubert de MUNCHENSY and his mother was Muriel de VALOIGNES. His paternal grandfather was Hubert de MUNCHENSY; his maternal grandparents were Piers de VALOIGNES, Sherrif of Essex and Albreda de RYE. He was an only child. He died at the age of 46 in 1162.-
