William I MALET 
William I was born in 1023 in Graville St. Honorine, Normandy, France. William I's father was Robert MALET and his mother was Daughter of Leofric Earl of MERCIA. His maternal grandparents were Leofric III Earl of MERCIA and Godiva of MERCIA. He was an only child. He died at the age of 48 in 1071 in Yorkshire, England.-
