Her paternal grandparents were Godred Crovan HAROLDSSON and Ragnhild Maria HARALDSDOTTIR; her maternal grandparents were Henry I 'Beauclerc' King of ENGLAND and Matilda MacCrinan of SCOTLAND. She was an only child.
