Margaret de was born in 1160 in Mentieth, Perthsire, Scotland. Margaret de's father was Richard de COMYN and her mother was Hextilda de TYNEDALE. Her paternal grandparents were William de COMYN and Maude BANASTRE; her maternal grandparents were Huctred de TYNEDALE and Bethoe Bethoc DUNKELD. She was an only child. She died at the age of 72 on August 9th, 1232.-
