John (The Marshall) Marshall 
John, known as The Marshall, was born about 1105 in Pembroke,Pembrokeshire,Wales. The Marshall's father was Gilbert Marshall and his mother was Lady Amaline De Venuz. His paternal grandfather was Goisfrid Marshall; his maternal grandfather was Geoffery De Venuz. He was an only child. He died in 1165.General Notes
