George was born about 1480 in Fordell (Fife),Scotland. George's father was Baron James Henderson Of Fordell, Brg.of Edinburgh and his mother was Helen Baty. His paternal grandparents were Robert Henderson Bgs.of Edinburgh and Jonet (Janet) Unknown; his maternal grandparents were John Baty and Isabel Clerk. He was an only child. He died in September 1547 in Fordell,Scotland; slain at battle of Pinkie.-
