John Hamilton 
John was born in Udston,Lanarkshire,Scotland. John's father was John Hamilton and his mother was Elizabeth Hamilton. His paternal grandfather was James Hamilton; his maternal grandfather was Patrick Hamilton. He was an only child. He died in 1568 in Langside,Scotland.
They had a son named William.
