Walter was born about 1100 in Salisbury,Wiltshire,England.  Walter's father was Edward De Salisbury and his mother was Maud Fitzhubert.  His paternal grandfather was Walter De Ewrus.  He was an only child.  He died in 1147 in near the Choir,Bradenstoke,Wiltshire,England.
