Robert II was born in 1248. Robert II's father was Duke Hugh IV De Burgundy and his mother was Yolande De Dreux. His paternal grandparents were Duke Eudes III Borell Of Burgundy and Aailiz De Vergy; his maternal grandparents were Count Robert III De Dreux and Leonore De Saint Valerie. He had a brother and a sister, named Eudes and Alix. He was the youngest of the three children. He died in Vernon-sur-Seine.General Notes
