Isabel was born about 1184 in Stoke,Devonshire,England. Isabel's father was Sir William De Briwere and her mother was Lady Beatrice De Lavalle. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Henry De Briwere and Lady Walton; her maternal grandparents were Reginald De Dunstanville and Lady Beatrice De Mortain. She had four sisters named Margaret, Alice, Gracia and Joan. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother named Henry. She died before June 10th, 1233.-
