Aelia Galla Placida Of Rome

Aelia Galla Placida's father was Emperor Theodosius I (The Great) Of The Roman Empire and her mother was Galla Of Rome.  Her paternal grandparents were Flavis Theodosius I Of Rome and Thermantia Of Rome; her maternal grandparents were Emperor Valentinian I Of The Roman Empire and Justina Of Rome.  She was an only child.  She died about 0450.¹ 

‌Aelia Galla Placida and Ataulph were married in a religious ceremony in 0414.¹ 

‌Aelia Galla Placida and Constantius III Flavius were married in a religious ceremony in 0417.¹   They had a son and a daughter, named Valentinian III Flavius Placidius and Julia Grata Honoria.
