Garcia Ourigues Da's father was Ourigo De Nóbrega and his mother was Maria Lourenço Da Cunha.  His maternal grandparents were Lourenço Fernandes Da Cunha and Maria (Sancha) Lourenço Macieira. He had a brother and two sisters, named Pedro Ouriques Da, Guiomar Ourigues (De and Maria.
