Maria's baptism took place on February 27th, 1651 in Barcelos, Dist. Braga (Pt). Maria's father was Antônio De Antas Corrêa and her mother was Maria Da Costa De Aguiar. Her paternal grandparents were Belchior De Antas Correia and Catarina De Santiago Da Silveira; her maternal grandparents were Manoel Da Costa and Maria De Aguiar. She had four brothers and five sisters, named José, Manuel, Amaro De, Domingos De, Isabel De, Luísa De, Madalena Maria De, Maria De and Serafina De.-
