Mateus Machado

Mateus' baptism took place on September 19th, 1691 in Vila Do Topo, Ilha DE S.Jorge.  Mateus' father was Baltazar Gonçalves Simões and his mother was Maria Santa De Mendonça.  His paternal grandparents were Sebastião Vicente Simões and Íria Lourenço; his maternal grandparents were Pedro Dias De Sousa and Luzia De Mendonça. He had a brother and a sister, named Manuel De Mendonça and Maria De São Pedro De.
