Gaspar Lucas 
Gaspar was born in Nove Ribeiras, Ilha Terceira (Açores). Gaspar's father was Antonio Lucas and his mother was Mécia Luís. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Manuel, Gonçalo, Antonio, Bárbara and Maria.
Gaspar and Maria were married in a religious ceremony on October 20th, 1614 in Espírito Santo Da Vila Nova, Ilha Terceira (Açores). They had six sons and six daughters, named Francisco, Mateus, Antonio, Antonio, Manuel Lucas, Pedro Lucas, Maria Das Neves, Bárbara, Mécia, Brites, Catarina and Isabel.
