Isabel Do Espírito Santo's father was Antônio Brum Da Silveira and her mother was Beatriz Evangelho. Her paternal grandparents were João Da Silveira and Catarina De Brum; her maternal grandparents were Ruy Dias Evangelho (Ii) and Isabel De Carvalho Peixoto. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Manuel De, João Da Silveira, Gregório Da Silveira, Rui Dias, Jerônimo De, Antonio Do Espírito Santo, Jorge, Francisco Peixoto De, Inês Da Silveira, Joana De and Branca Da Trindade. She had two half-brothers named Brás Da and Gaspar Homem De.
