Jose Mercedes was born in 1801 in Asiento DE Minas DE Petorca/Aconcagua (AL Sur DE Santiago DE Chile). Jose Mercedes' father was Manuel Gonzalez Muñoz and his mother was Maria Fabiana De La Paz Fernandez Manso. His paternal grandparents were Juan Gonzalez Y Saavedra and Josefa Muñoz Aguayo. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 on April 6th, 1861.General Notes
