Francisca's baptism took place on November 21st, 1691 in S.Miguel, Borba DE Godim, Felgueiras, Porto (Pt).  Francisca's father was Pedro Carvalho and her mother was Francisca Teixeira.  Her paternal grandparents were Gonçalo Gonçalves and Jerônima Carneiro; her maternal grandparents were Antônio Teixeira and Catarina Carneiro. She had five brothers and four sisters, named João Teixeira, José, Manuel, Diogo, Antônio, Francisca, Luíza, Maria and Joana.
