João Gil Fagundes

João Gil's father was Gil Anes Curvo (Borba) and his mother was Isabel Rodrigues Fagundes.  His maternal grandfather was Rui Afonso Fagundes. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Álvaro Gil, Diogo Gil, Francisco Rodrigues, Lopo Gil, Manuel Rodrigues, Catarina Gil, Clara Gil, Grácia Rodrigues and Íria Gil.

They had a son named Tomé Gil.
