Almodis was born in 1047. Almodis' father was Pons-Guillaume Ou Pons II De Toulouse and her mother was Almodis De La Marche. Her paternal grandparents were Guillaume III Taillefer De Toulouse and Emma De Provence; her maternal grandparents were Bernard Ier De La Marche and Amélie De Razes. She had two brothers named Guillaume IV and Raymond IV. She was the youngest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Hugues VI Le Diable, Raymond-Bérenger II Cap D'etoupe, Mélisende and Iñes. She died at the age of 47 in 1094.-
