Béatrix was born in 1198. Béatrix's father was Thomas Ier De Savoie and her mother was Marguerite Béatrice Ou Nicole De Genève. Her paternal grandparents were Humbert III Le Saint De Savoie and Béatrice De Bourgogne-Comté; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume Ier De Genève and Marguerite Ou Béatrice De Faucigny. She had two brothers named Amédée IV and Thomas II. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 68 in December 1266.-
