Eléonore was born in 1206. Eléonore's father was Geoffroi IV De Rançon and her mother was Jeanne Maingot De Surgères. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffroi III De Rançon and Isabelle D'angoulème; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume III Maingot De Surgères and Berthe De Rançon. She had three sisters named Aimable, ? and Assalide. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 63 in 1269.General Notes
