Rotrude was born in 0836. Rotrude's father was Lothaire Ier De Germanie and her mother was Irmengarde De Tours. Her paternal grandparents were Louis Ier Le Débonnaire De France and Ermengarde De Haspengau; her maternal grandparents were Hugues II Le Peureux De Tours and Ava De Morvois. She had two brothers and a sister, named Louis II Le Jeune, Lothaire II and Irmengarde. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 46 in 0882.-
