Guillaume IV was born in 1083. Guillaume IV's father was Armengaud IV De Gerp D'urgel and his mother was Adélaïde De Provence. His paternal grandparents were Armengaud III De Barbastro D'urgel and Clémence De Bigorre; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume IV De Provence and Adélaïde De Canaves. He had a half-brother named Armengaud V. He died at the age of 46 in October 1129.General Notes
