Gunnor was born about 1020.  Gunnor's father was Baudry Le Teutonique De Courcy and her mother was Alix De Clare. She had a brother named Robert Ier.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-sister named Hasinsa.

They had a son and a daughter, named Guillaume Ier and Hésilia.
