Suniaire Ier was born in 0885.  Suniaire Ier's father was Wilfred Ier Le Velu De Barcelone and his mother was Winilda D'ampurias.  His paternal grandparents were Sunifred Ier D'urgel and Ermessende N...; his maternal grandfather was Sunifred Ou Humfrid D'ampurias. He had two brothers named Wilfred II Borrell Ier and Miron II El Joven.  He was the second oldest of the three children.

‌Suniaire Ier and Richilde were married in a religious ceremony in 0925.  They had a son named Borrell II.
