Robert VIII was born in 1282. Robert VIII's father was Robert VII D'auvergne and his mother was Béatrix De Montgascon. His paternal grandparents were Robert VI D'auvergne and Eléonore De Baffie; his maternal grandparents were Faucon III De Montgascon and Isabeau De Ventadour. He was an only child. He died at the age of 43 on October 13th, 1325.General Notes
